When on the hunt for new music to listen to, there is nothing like finding something that hits that classic rock genre but making it totally their own.
Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones manages to do exactly that, with that classic rock guitar vibe that is prominent in her songs mixed with her stellar, raw vocals, it’s fresh yet nostalgic all at the same time.
The South Carolina born artist is a triple threat, being able to play guitar, sing and write songs she just has bags of talent and promise for her career and it’s hard not to think that this is a name that is going to be appearing at any festival she wants to.
Her debut self titled album only come out in January this year and it showcases her talents brilliantly with a mix of songs perfectly displaying her range from the fast paced and raw that is ‘Bomb Through the Breeze’ and ‘Too Close to You’ to the slower more bluesy tracks like ‘Mama Said’ and ‘Shadowboxes and Porcelain Faces’
Sadly unless you are based in America, there are currently no dates set to tour the UK but we can only hope her talent reaches our shores in the near future.
