The Great Escape Festival announces it’s final acts and schedule

The Great Escape unveils the final names for it’s 2018 festival with Dream Wife and Wyldest among the latest additions.

There is less than 4 weeks to go for the three day Brighton takeover as the legendary new music showcase released the full festival schedule.

Acts also joining the lineup include; Alaskalaska, Dama Scout, FUR, Saltwater Sun, Swimming Tapes, Wyldest, Trudy And The Romance and many more!

The Great Escape will take place across multiple venues between May 17 and 19 and this year organisers will unveil a new 2000 capacity site called The Beach, which will host two venues on Brighton beach.

100+ incredible artists join The Great Escape line-up!

Kicking off in less than 6 weeks, The Great Escape festival brings the best mix of artists together from all around the world and is truly one event you do not want to miss out on! With over 100 more artists added to this year’s already generous line-up, Rory Bett, MAMA CEO says ‘the level of talent is undeniably the best this festival has seen and we’re so excited to help break the next generation of musicians.’

Joining the line-up are some of the hottest properties in rock at the moment, underground punk rockers from Bristol IDLES, Edinburgh’s own indie rockers Vistas, garage rockers The Regrettes, and local talent Demob Happy and The Magic Gang who will ensure wall-to-wall commotion with their fantastic debut album, shooting straight to number 12 in the charts upon its release.

The Great Escape will take place in Brighton, between the 17th – 19th May and tickets are selling fast, so make sure to get yours as soon as possible, here.

The Great Escape announces 100 new acts to it’s 2018 line-up!

The Great Escape unveils new names for it’s 2018 festival with Milk Teeth and Sun Arcana amongst the latest additions.

The Brighton event expands every year, with 2018 set to be it’s biggest yet adding more names to the legendary new music showcase.

Ecca Vandal, Lady Bird, White Room, Marsicans, Plaza, Pale Seas, Cassia and loads more are set for the bash.

The end of last month they unveiled the likes of Tom Grennan, The Faim, Goat Girl, The Night Cafe, and Sea Girls for its three day Brighton takeover.

According to the festival’s booker Adam Ryan, they’re not done yet either so watch this space for more line-up news.

The Great Escape announces new beach venues and adds more than 80 new acts to the line-up!

The Great Escape just got even bigger and better! Not only announcing 80 new acts today, but revealed plans to host sets on the beach with a new 2000-capacity festival site.

The names joining the already huge bill for the legendary new music showcase are the likes of Tom Grennan, Faim, Goat Girl, The Night Cafe, Sea Girls and many more!

The festival has 30 incredible venues which has been expanded to a new site on the Brighton beach that will be home to two venues to watch the very best new artists as well as buzzing bars, delicious food stalls, hang out areas and pop up performance spaces.

The Great Escape has also revealed a partnership with Brighton charity FareShare Sussex, which redistributes surplus from the food industry to over 100 charities and community groups supporting vulnerable people across Brighton and Sussex
