2000 Trees finally announce final headliner and 20 more acts!

For those following 2000 Trees closely it’s been intriguing to see who will finally be announced to headline the Friday night after teasing it for so long.

Well today the wait is over and the final headline act to take to the stage on the Friday will be the brilliant Twin Atlantic. They will join previously announced headliners At the Drive In who will be performing on the Thursday and Enter Shikari who will be the festivals final headlining act on the Saturday evening.

That is not all however, as 2000 Trees also treated us to another 20 bands to be added to the bill containing names such as Moose Blood, Sikth, Woes and PINS, check out the full announcement below:

The Great Escape Festival announces it’s final acts and schedule

The Great Escape unveils the final names for it’s 2018 festival with Dream Wife and Wyldest among the latest additions.

There is less than 4 weeks to go for the three day Brighton takeover as the legendary new music showcase released the full festival schedule.

Acts also joining the lineup include; Alaskalaska, Dama Scout, FUR, Saltwater Sun, Swimming Tapes, Wyldest, Trudy And The Romance and many more!

The Great Escape will take place across multiple venues between May 17 and 19 and this year organisers will unveil a new 2000 capacity site called The Beach, which will host two venues on Brighton beach.

More acts added to this year’s Tramlines Festival and stage splits revealed

Tramlines Festival have announced another batch of act for 2018!

The tenth anniversary of the event will be headlined by Stereophonics, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Craig David’s TS5.

New to the bill, are Tom Grennan, Black Honey, Pins, Palace, Honeyblood, King No-One, and many more, also added to these exciting new additions. With this news Tramlines have also announced stage splits for the Three Day event.

This year Tramlines will take place at the new location of Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park between July 20 and 22.

After last month’s first line up announcement, Dot To Dot Festival have now revealed a further 20+ new acts to this year’s three-day event which visits Manchester on 25th May, Bristol on 26th May and Nottingham on 27th May.

The new acts include Peach Pit, Desperate Journalist, Fizzy Blood, Dead!, Chappaqua Wrestling, No Hot Ashes and many more!

They join the previously announced acts such as headliners The Horrors, Pale Waves, Bad Sounds, The Regrettes, Cassia and many others.

21 more bands added to the ArcTanGent line up!

Taking place between 16th – 18th August, the ArcTanGent Festival returns this year, bigger and better, with a further 21 acts added to their already stellar line-up.

Although limited to a capacity of 5000 people, this is one of the festivals that guaranteed will not disappoint connoisseurs of Math-Rock, Post-Rock, Noise-Rock and everything in between! With previous acts including the likes of Russian Circles, LITE, Cult of Luna, MONO and returning bands such as one of this year’s headliners, And So I Watch You From Afar,  ArcTanGent are filling their stages with a carefully selected variety of only the best acts of the genres they’re representing.

 

Having announced this year’s headliners in early February and March respectively, And So I Watch You From Afar, GlassJaw and Shellac will be joined on stage by another twenty one fantastic acts, including Japan’s own Mouse on the Keys, Plini, Coldbones, Death and the Penguin, mølNatalie Evans, Only Echoes Remain and a special collaboration between Pijn and the Conjurer that they’ve named ‘Curse these Metal Hands’. Black Honey, King Nun and The Night Cafe are among the second wave of acts added to the sold out show at Victoria Park in May.

The new additions join headliners Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Courteeners as well as Editors, Blossoms, Circa Waves, The Sherlocks and many among others.

Other names added to the bill are Yonaka, Ten Tonnes, Touts, Tom Walker, Blackwaters and other upcoming names!

The festival takes place over the bank holiday weekend of May 26 and 27 which promises three stages along with a hub of local food and drinks.

‘A Riot of Colour’ – Beautiful Days returns with an unmissable line-up

With tickets having gone on sale over a month ago, the colourful Beautiful Days Festival has finally announced this year’s headliners, and it absolutely does not disappoint!

Returning to Escot Park, in Devon, between the 17th and 19th August, Beautiful Days promises a riot of color as its Sunday theme, encouraging people to ‘be bold, be bright-wear every colour of the rainbow’! Not only this, but the line-up is one to make it a must-see on your list of festivals this summer.

Headlining the main stage are Manic Street Preachers on the Saturday and festival founders – the Levellers, who will be closing the weekend, as well as other acts such as Shed Seven, Gogol Bordello, The Wildhearts, Dreadzone, The Ska Vengers, A Tribe Called Red, The Spitfires, Ducking Punches and there for the first time, indie rock band, Feeder. Suzanne Vega, Calexico and folk legend, Richard Thompson Electric Trio are headlining the Big Top Stage, and will also be joined by Rising Appalachia, Les Negresses Vertes, Oysterband, 3 Daft Monkeys and North London siblings, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis.

The Little Bit Top is host to an amazing variety including Jazzie B, Sian Evans, The Undercover Hippie, Big Fish Little Fish, Macky Gee & IC3 and DJ Shineybeast , while the Theatre tent presents John Farnworth’s ‘Football Magic, ‘Stupid Stunt Show’ with Dan the Hat, Spitz & Co and irish poet, Stephen James Smith. What is more, the Band Stand welcomes the 2018 Fancy Dress Competition, Open Mic Sessions, The United Stoats of America, Jake and the Jellyfish, The Cravats, 40 Shillings on the Drum and many, many more. LeeStock ’18 bringing good music for a fantastic cause since 2006

LeeStock Festival looks set for it’s biggest year yet as it returns to Melford Hall in Suffolk and the 2018 line-up looks to be a cracker!

The Festival is a lasting tribute and memorial to local musician Lee Dunford who battled against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma until 2006, and the money that is raised  from the festival and associated fundraising events are donated to the Willow Foundation charity.

Starting in 2006, LeeStock was launched as a way for Lee’s friends to put on a tribute show in the memory of Lee Dunford who had sadly passed earlier in the year. After taking a year off, the event grew and helped raise £3000 for the Willow Foundation charity in 2008. Since the festival has grown leaps and bounds year on year, moving from different locations until it found it’s current home at Melford Hall Park.

Now at it’s current home the festival has had the space to keep on growing, bringing bigger and better line ups every year over the course of two days, with this year’s being no exception and all in aid of raising money for a fantastic cause. To date the festival has raised over £60,000 for the Willow Foundation.

The acts on the line-up include Feeder, Reef, Pigeon Detectives and plenty more will be gracing the LeeStock stage over the two days on 26th & 27th May 2018.

Hit The North Festival announces it’s 2018 line up with The Horror’s revealed as first headliner!

Hit The North Festival have announced it’s 2018 line-up with The Horrors revealed as the first headliner for this year’s event which takes place across various venues in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

It will be celebrating its second year after a hugely successful 2017, also joining the bill are The Marmozets, Tom Grennan, British Sea Power, Blaenavon, and more upcoming bands for the first wave of acts announced.

The festivals main focus is on new music, whether that’s from established bands with new releases, or from new artists just stepping out into the business.

It was previously announced that Peace and Circa Waves will headline Meet the North 2018 which will be taking place on the same weekend as big-sister event Hit the North from 4th to the 6th May!
